RyTask plans a timeline view — bars over dates, Gantt-style — and a calendar view. Timelines are exactly the kind of feature incumbents paywall (Jira, ClickUp, Asana, Monday) or only offer in a roadmap-lite form (Linear). The groundwork is already in the data model: items carry start, end, and due dates from day one, so the views can be built on top without a migration.
What's planned:
- Timeline / Gantt view — basic bars over dates first (MVP scope), dependency-aware later (v2).
- Calendar view — items laid out on a calendar (MVP scope).
- Spreadsheet / table view — an editable grid of items (v2).
- Swimlanes — horizontal bands on the board view (v2).
Dependencies and relations

Richer work items
