Coming soonThis feature is on the roadmap (MVP scope) and is not in RyTask yet. This page describes what is planned — nothing here is final.

Notification overload is the most common complaint about work trackers, and the planned answer is granular, findable preferences: choose what reaches you per project and per event type, rather than a single all-or-nothing switch.

One control already works today: you can snooze individual notifications in the inbox, and they re-surface later. The preference layer described here — deciding what arrives in the first place — is the part that does not exist yet.

What's planned:

  • Per-project and per-event preferences — granular opt-in to what notifies you (MVP scope).
  • Digest scheduling — daily or weekly summaries instead of per-event noise (v2).
  • Mobile push — phone alerts, once mobile apps exist (v2).
  • Global mute rules — broad quiet controls across the workspace (v2).
