Enterprise and identity
Enterprise and identity, planned for RyTask — SSO, SAML, and SCIM plus observability hooks and a Helm chart, free in self-host, not behind an enterprise tier.
Every SaaS tracker paywalls enterprise identity — the "SSO tax" is an industry standard. RyTask's plan is the opposite: when SSO, SAML, and SCIM land, they will be free in the self-hosted edition, like every other feature. The same wave brings the operational maturity self-hosters ask for: telemetry hooks, proof of scale, and eventually a first-class Kubernetes story.
What's planned:
- SSO / SAML / SCIM — enterprise identity, free in self-host (v2).
- Observability hooks — logs, metrics, and traces for your monitoring stack (v2).
- Horizontal scalability — scale out under load; architected for it from day one (v2).
- Performance budgets and load tests in CI — regressions caught before release (v2).
- Helm / Kubernetes chart — cluster deployment (v3).
Advanced permissions
Advanced permissions, planned for RyTask — custom roles with granular grants, an organization audit log, and eventually field- and record-level security.
Search extras
Search extras, planned for RyTask — natural-language finding through the MCP server and a JQL-style query language, beyond today's full-text search.
