Time tracking extras

Planned additions to the live time tracking — billable rates, idle reminders, and timesheets.

Time tracking itself is live — timers, manual entries, planned-versus-interruption tagging, and roll-ups all work today; see the time tracking guide. This page covers what's planned on top of it.

One honest detail: every time entry already carries a billable flag — you can mark entries billable today. What does not exist yet is everything that makes the flag pay off: rates, costs, and invoicing are the planned part.

What's planned:

  • Billable rates and invoicing — attach rates to the existing billable flag and bill from it (v2).
  • Idle detection / reminders — a nudge when the timer runs while you don't (v2).
  • Timesheets with approval — a weekly sheet plus sign-off (v3).
