RyTask already has the permission basics: roles, organization isolation, and project-level access. This page covers the planned finer-grained layer — the controls that competitors usually paywall (custom roles are paid in ClickUp and Plane; audit logs are gated in Jira and Plane).

What's planned:

  • Custom roles and granular permissions — fine-grained capability grants beyond the built-in tiers (v2).
  • Audit log — who did what, when, across the organization (v2).
  • Field and record-level security — hide specific fields or records by role (v3).

Collaboration extras

Planned collaboration features beyond comments — reactions, docs, automatic check-ins, and guest sharing.

Enterprise and identity

Planned SSO, observability, and scale-out features — free in self-host, not behind an enterprise tier.
