RyTask plans milestones: named delivery targets with fixed dates that give a project shape beyond its day-to-day item list. Higher-altitude planning — a roadmap view across quarters and initiatives — follows in a later wave, since those are the features most often paywalled elsewhere (Jira and Asana gate their roadmaps).

What's planned:

  • Milestones — named delivery targets per project (MVP scope).
  • Milestone dates — fixed target markers visible on planning views (MVP scope).
  • Roadmap view — a quarter or initiative timeline (v2).
  • Initiatives, goals, and OKRs — company-level grouping above projects (v2).
  • Project status updates — on track / at risk / off track posts (v2).

Cycles and sprints

Planned time-boxed cycles with automatic rollover of unfinished work.

Dependencies and relations

Planned blocking links between work items, with softer relations and dependency-aware scheduling later.
